Torrequebrada Golf Course opened in 1976 and was designed by Jose Pepe Gancedo, one of Spain´s most promising golfers. Torrequebrada is considered one of the best in Spain and was host to the 53rd Spanish Open Championships in 1979. Golf Torrequebrada is now leading the way on the coast to provide a top level service to all golfers ensuring that their golf is enjoyed.
In 2007 there were some major changes at the club, primarily the total replacement of the irrigation system on the course which has made a fantastic difference to the condition of the course. New Pro Shop, Caddymaster and changing rooms have been updated to make the areas more appealing and modern to all golfers and mirrors the standard expected from a golf course of this level.
The Championship Day was also introduced which involves a member of staff taking care of the larger groups of golfers coming here and provides a top level service from the time the golfers enter the club to the time they leave.
