The hotel's 18-hole, 6041 -yard par 70 golf course uses the natural features of the old Milgate Deer Park, with its undulating terrain and attractive stands of Scots pines, to produce a round that is as spiritually restful as it is physically invigorating. Matched by a covered practice ground and a putting green, it is an ideal place in which to indulge yourself in some enjoyable time simply focusing on your game.
When that's done, you have a choice of restaurants and bars, two gyms, tennis courts, an indoor heated swimming pool, spa bath, sauna and steam room, not to mention 120 en-suite bedrooms.
Close by are some of the scenic and historic treasures of Kent. Chatham and its naval dockyards is eight miles away:magnificent Canterbury Cathedral is half-an-hour's drive. If castles appeal to you, take your pick from Dover Castle and Hever Castle (both less than an hour away by car) and beautiful Leeds Castle, which is just two miles down the road.
