However, Carnoustie caters for players of all abilities and for those in search of an ideal introduction to links golf, the Burnside Course, 6020 yards par 68, is a perfect choice. In addition the average golfer will find a host of enjoyable challenges on the 5400-yard par 66 Buddon Links Course.
Carnoustie was home to 1999 and 2007 British Open and is also holding Dunhill Seniors Open 2010 International Pairs.
